Academia: School Simulator joins Paradox interactive!

Paradox Interactive revealed it acquired Academia: School Simulator from Squeaky Wheel Studio. The latest addition to the publisher's growing management portfolio is a cheerful, yet challenging, title that tasks players with building and managing a high school. Academia: School Simulator was created by Philippine game development studio Squeaky Wheel under the leadership of former CEO Ryan Sumo, who was also the artist behind Prison Architect's iconic art style.
"I'm excited about this new step for Academia,” says Ryan Sumo. “It took us nine months to launch it in Early Access, and since its release in 2017, we've been overwhelmed by the positive reviews and the support from the community.
