Hey everyone!

We’d like to be faster than Santa and deliver you some fresh news about B.I.O.T.A.’s development before the Holidays!

First up, the new character - Alex a.k.a. the Hitman. Her past remains a mystery, but it is said that she has made a fortune working for an organization of professional killers. She specializes in stealth and silent weapons. Her B-ray Gun makes the enemies look like sitting ducks,, and her special Cluster Neutron Bomb ability annihilates every enemy in the blast zone. See for yourselves!

We’ve also finished the SHMUP section of the game which adds another layer to the gameplay experience in B.I.O.T.A. In this section, you’ll control a shuttle, collect weapon upgrades, and plow through a field of enemies. We hope it’ll bring back your fond memories of classic Shoot’em Ups.

As for new settings, we’ve added the option to choose between Lo-Fi and Hi-Fi Color Rendering. It’s very likely that most players will be able to choose the Hi-Fi option and play without any issues, while the Lo-Fi setting is optimized for integrated graphic cards. This will allow lower-end PCs to run the game without any issues.

One last minor update is the Cutscene Frame. We thought it was a bit dull and empty, so we’ve decided to change it completely.

As B.I.O.T.A. nears completion, we’re working out the last stages of the game and adding finishing touches across the board. We’ll have more info to share in January. Follow B.I.O.T.A. here on Steam, so you don’t miss it!

That’s all for this Dev Update. Let us know what you think about the game and we hope to see you on our official Discord.

See you next time!
