During the Early Access period, I have been adding features suggested by the amazing community and fixing minor bugs, and I'm proud to say the project is nearly complete. I'll be adding some new sounds and explosion effects to the game, and giving the vehicle models a little more love. I would still like to add in a third person mode, but I think the visuals need an overhaul before that happens. I have also been contemplating adding in a new game mode, some sort of light procedural open world with base building and colonization elements, wandering threats such as the hordes and giants, and so on.
The world is under siege from an unknown enemy. Gates are appearing around the world, spawning demonic entities. Major cities have been destroyed with overwhelming force. Most of the population has been decimated, but the dead rise again to feast on the living. There was no warning, no signs, no dark omen... Just death and destruction. This is the apocalypse. There are rumors of massive fortified strongholds around the world, properly defended against these dark invaders. The closest stronghold is called Salvation, but getting there will prove to be a long, challenging road. If there is any hope of survival, it rests far to the North at the gates of Salvation.
Some features include local co-op, RPG style character creation, vehicle and weapon modification, skill based crafting, vehicle combat, trailers, destructible buildings, upgradeable caravan system with support drops and airstrikes, semi-procedural buildings and highways, randomized locations, giant demons, and over 20 tracks from various talented musicians.
