Hello Killsquad and Novarama fans,
It’s Dani here, the Studio Head and Designer behind Killsquad. I wanted to give you a quick announcement that we will soon be increasing the price of Killsquad. It has been a topic of our internal discussions for some time, and we feel that it is the right step to take. Since its release, Killsquad has been polished, beefed up with new content, and new modes were added too. We also looked at other games that are similar to ours in terms of content and size, and we looked at their prices. And after having those chats we feel that 24.99€ / $27.99 is a fair price for our game. We are also working on the PlayStation versions of Killsquad which will be released in the not-so-distant future. With PC cross-play enabled, we want to maintain price parity with the console version too. It would be unfair to charge one platform more than the other. So as of March 18th 2022, Killsquad will be available to purchase for 24.99€ / $27.99.
So how does this price increase affect you?
1. If you bought the game already, there’s no change, worry, or problem to think about. Just keep playing and enjoy Killsquad.
2. If you were on the fence to buy Killsquad, now might be a good time to buy it. You’ll save yourself that extra bit of money.
3. You can also wait until the price increase and pay the full price. That’s ok too. But don’t fret if you’re a bit tight on funding! We will keep offering discounts from time to time, so do watch Steam carefully, or add our game to your Wishlist, and you will be notified when Killsquad is on sale.
In summary, if you have the game already - nothing to worry about. If you don’t have the game and want to buy it - now might be a good time because soon Killsquad’s price is going up.
