SHUT IN: SHUTDOWN - Release Date Confirmed!

SHUT IN · published 2 May 2021, 13:28 UTC

All newsPlayers around this dateRead on Steam

Excited (and maybe a little terrified) to announce the official release date of SHUT IN's first major content update: SHUTDOWN, which will be coming to get you from Saturday 22nd May!

Just who says you need fresh air, anyway? There must be more to explore in this cozy little house. Follow the painstaking steps to self-improvement and head outside, or abandon all hope and delve into the Basement for new rooms, items, a whole new horrible fate, and more atmospheric music from the incredibly talented Luc Wilkinson's experimental horror soundscape Void, Now.

Expect pipes, steam, rust, fire, cracks, dark, danger, denial, and a highly suspicious buzzing jar.

There's still a lot of work to be done, and an ~optimistic~ time frame for it all, but progress is coming along steadily and I'm super excited to share more of SHUT IN with the world.

That's all for now, and thanks again for everyone showing their support!

Stay scared, folks!
