Welcome to Deadswitch 3!

For previous players, you can continue to use your Deadswitch 3 account in the Steam version and continue from where you left off. Steam players have access to Steam Cloud, friends integration, achievements, stats, and more!

For new players, welcome! Deadswitch 3 is a fast-paced 2D multiplayer shooter with hundreds of weapons, multiple maps and game modes, and limitless customization. The Deadswitch series started as a simple browser Flash game and has since moved onto a complete 2D multiplayer experience.

There is only 1 developer behind the Deadswitch series! The game is built around the community, so don't be shy to request new features.

Overview

Deadswitch 3 is split into 3 primary game types: Ranked, Operations, and Survival.

Ranked

Ranked games make up the core of Deadswitch 3, allowing players to earn XP and progress through the ranks to unlock new weapons, equipment, killstreaks, perks, and more.

Such game modes include Free-for-All, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, and others. Ranked games can support up to 10 players in a single match. If you're looking for intense team-based gameplay, Ranked should be your choice.

You have access to Classes, which allow you to customize your primary weapon, secondary weapon, perks, and killstreaks.

Operations

Operations are a Ranked game variation where the player can play an objective-based mission, set the desired difficulty, and earn rewards. The harder the difficulty, the better the rewards!

You still earn XP towards your Ranked profile in Operations. You can play Operations solo or with another teammate online. For more difficult missions, having a teammate is highly recommended.

Survival

Survival games have one goal: to survive as long as possible.

There are multiple Survival game modes, such as Undead Survival, Chaos Survival, or Stakeout Survival. Kill endless waves of enemies, earn money, and submit your score in the worldwide leaderboards.

Survival games still earn a small of XP towards your Ranked profile. Survival games consist of 4-6 players per match.

Deadswitch 3 Account

A Deadswitch 3 account is recommended to play, but not required. It allows you to save your profile data and access it on any device (even outside of Steam Cloud)! This is particular useful for players who switch between the web version and PC version.

While optional, logging into a Deadswitch 3 account does have benefits. It allows you create/join clans, to be shown in the multiplayer and Survival leaderboards, and access your profile on different platforms.

Shards

Shards are the in-game currency of Deadswitch 3. They are used to unlock weapons, attachments, perks, killstreaks, character items, and more.

How to Get Shards

There are multiple ways to get Shards in Deadswitch 3:

  • Level up in Ranked
  • Loot Shards from Battlezone games
  • Complete multiplayer challenges
  • Complete clan challenges
  • Receive 1 Shard for every 10 Operation Stars you earn
  • Complete Veteran Operations

You can also purchase Shards directly from the Get Shards menu.
