The new drawing tools are live and ready to use, this massive update really brings a lot of useful kit to the table:

  • Grids and snapping mean you can keep tokens neat and tidy
  • Measurement tools make it easy to plan out moves
  • New overlay markers make it easy to highlight places on the map or discuss tactics
  • A variety of shape tools to better fit those non-rectangular rooms!
  • Map Layer markers so the GM can mark changes in the environment

This is a huge overhaul, so be sure to give me a shout if you encounter any problems, or things that don't make a lot of sense.

I've done some house keeping on the Trello Board so you can check out the plan going forward, for now I'm working on some wrapping up of the new tools as well as tracking down some bugs in the initiative system, but within a month I hope to be kicking off the Dice Tray systems.

This patch has been worked on in parallel with the Multi-Layer feature, which is taking longer than I hoped to get developed due to a lot of life changes (all of them are good) that have all hit in the last month for me. The main feature is the new "Report a Problem" button in the top right of player and DM cl…In-game event24 Jun 20220.3.7.0 Added Multi-Floor Support for mapsTo follow along with the development, report a problem, or just say 'hi', Join us in Discord! This update, adds a Floor/Layer Management system so that each map can have multiple layers, rather than a separate map for every floor. While this update is relatively low impact, it lays the groundwork for the "Multi-Layer" rendering features which will be the next feature on the task list. Map Layer…
