Hey friends!
Version 0.5 is finally live... The LAST update before release!
This update rounds a TON of edges, brings a bunch of new content, and makes the game more awesome than ever. I feel really good about the state of 0.5 and the play experience as a whole at this point.
Without further delay, let's look at a few things that will be there in 0.5!
Important announcement at the end!
At a glance, here is a quick list of some of the main additions:
First up, there are more than 10 new Monsters that can be encountered and battled. You'll find these Raizor Wraiths in the Void.
Some of the new Monsters are VERY strong, but... All is not lost. There are countless balance changes and new attributes to allow you to customize a strong build against the Forces of Darkness!
There is even a new combat mechanic "Blade Whirl"!
Consume some of your precious Mana, and hurl your equipped weapon at Monsters dealing powerful blows and apply on-hit effects.
Aside from combative obstacles, Serin Fate has gotten a bit more tricky with "The Trial of the Moon".
Without spoiling much, here's a tiny peek.
How about these majestic Storm Turtles? You'll have to talk to Gokiki the Sage and figure out how to communicate with one...
There are many quality of life improvements coming in 0.5, such as crafting from the Magic Box chest type, and the new Chimera Pen inspection.
I don't want to share TOO much more ahead of time... Ok... One last thing! There is a new town layout and NPCs... Meet Laurent.
Serin Fate has truely become the game I dreamed of making and set out to create some years ago...
It has been a massive undertaking and the entirety of this mechanic list is now a reality.
Even now, Serin Fate is offering 40+ hours of playtime, and the time has come...
As I've talked about on the Steam early access and social platforms, Serin Fate will be receiving a moderate price increase to 20.00$ USD, to fairly reflect the quality and scale that the game has become. This change is currently live.
Thank you for your continued support as I bring Serin Fate to full release later this year, complete with an epic storyline, bursting with end-game content, and finished with polished controller support and language localizations.
If you have questions or just want to hang, I (and over 1000 others) would love to meet you on Discord.
Thank you all again - I look forward to your feedback and suggestions.
Lastly, here is some awesome featured fanarts from the Discord!
