Heya!
You know, today is the big day. Or rather tomorrow is the big day, since tomorrow SuchArt will go live, but there’s only one day to go, and, I mean, it’s TOMORROW, so today is kinda big too. And big days are perfect for sharing sincere personal messages, right?
As you may know, SuchArt is being developed by only one person — Voolgi. Of course, there are a few people helping him out (including me), but he’s the true creator of this wonderful and inspiring game. Voolgi is fairly outgoing for a solo dev — most of the time you can easily reach out to him on our Discord, he often replies to your comments in Steam discussions, yet his time resources are limited, and therefore I’m responsible for most announcements, Steam updates, tweets, and other public stuff.
Since today is the (kinda) big day, I decided that it’d be the perfect time to let Voolgi talk and asked him to think of a message he wanted to convey to our lovely community right before the release. And here you go — I now give the floor to Voolgi, the one and only SuchArt dev!
Hello lovely people, I have been putting a lot of love and work into the game, and I do hope you will find it relaxing and fun to play. No really, I mean it. The free Creative Space version got a lot of reviews (I actually read them) and feedback, most being way more positive than I would have dared to dream of. That is a great thing to see, and I really hope the upcoming full version of the game will now meet your expectations as well! I am now flexing my code-muscles for the inevitable day 1 patch, but afterwards I will totally continue to work on the game for a while. We will keep looking at your feedback and, hopefully, deliver some content accordingly :) So whether you’re in for fine art painting, for messing around your studio or to ornate every wall you find with some dubious content, I wish you to have the most satisfying painting time and to share your creations with the community <3 And don’t forget: always blame the tools, and be gentle with your PetBot!
