With Negative Nancy coming to Steam in 5 days, we decided to interview some of the characters from the game. We wanted to hear their thoughts on Nancy’s rise to fame.
Interviewer: Is it true you once arrested Nancy before she was famous?
Detective: That’s right.
Interviewer: Can I ask what for?
Detective: Who’s asking, huh? You with GAWDDAMN internal affairs?
Interviewer: No, we’re doing a fluff piece on Nancy’s rise to fame.
Detective: Nancy… yeah, I remember Nancy. Sure, the charges didn’t stick… but she’s guilty of something. You’ll see.
Interviewer: But you couldn’t prove it?
Detective: Listen, you GAWDDAMN hack! You been on the force as long as I have, you don’t need crap like ‘evidence’ and ‘due process’... criminals make my teeth ache, and JUSTICE is the only dentist I trust.
Interviewer: What do you suspect her of?
Detective: One day, she’s gonna slip up. She’s gonna snap. And me and JUSTICE are gonna be ready when she does…
