Roadmap Update!

Hey everybody!

It's been a while since we have released any updates about RoboSquare, so this will be a quick informative announcement.

Kostia and I (Griffin) have just recently graduated from college each with our computer science degrees, and with such have already started full-time work at different companies. This being said, even though a lot of our time has been freed up with no more long nights of homework, we will not work on RoboSquare full-time, but have much more time to devote to this project now.

So we sat down and decided to start looking at RoboSquare from an outside view, and where we can make quick and easy improvements that were being overlooked, this includes; overall gameplay mechanics, different visuals involving UI, and the gameplay looks, and other small details and bugs.

So far we already have many changes that have added to the quality of RoboSquare but still much more to add. So you will just have to see during our next update!

Back to the main point for this post, we have decided for the future of RoboSquare to eventually become a free-to-play game, but in doing so we need to find more ways to still make a profit from the project for our time devotion, so this free-to-play transition most likely won't be very soon. We are wanting to also tie in the full release of RoboSquare into this idea, so there will be very big announcements for when this happens.

Other plans we have in store, which may or may not be implemented, could include events or contests that involve real-world prizes, get-togethers with influencers, or other events of those sorts.

All of this again isn't scheduled as of this moment, but join the discord to keep in the loop, or give your thoughts about anything you want!

Thank you all to those who have helped test RoboSquare, and allowed us all to have a great time doing so! We hope you guys continue to find RoboSquare fun and entertaining, as that's our true goal for the project!

Community6 Sep 2026I Rebuilt RoboSquare from scratch. [RoboSquare: Recharged] AnnouncmentYou played the first one. Thank you. RoboSquare came out on New Year's Eve 2021. Nearly 54,000 people played it and 248 of you left a review, most of them positive, which was more than I expected from a free game about robots shoving each other off a platform. A lot of those reviews said the same two things. There isn't enough of it, and I can't get into a match. Both were fair, and I couldn't…Esports10 Sep 2024Glingdom is now on the Steam Store!Glingdom is now on the Steam Store! Taking a step back from multiplayer games, I wanted to dabble in a different genre. As time went on, I started a few projects, but none of them felt great, something worth the time and effort. Then came along Glingdom, a strategy game ready to test your skill while providing the ability to unlock tons of interesting cards to create the perfect combos!
