The SOL Device is going to be Free to Play

Hey everyone!

It's been just under 3 years now since I released The SOL Device, and I want to thank everyone who's supported it. After much consideration, I have decided that I want everyone to be able to play the game without having a paywall in the way. So on April 9th, The SOL Device will become available for free.

For those who have already bought the game, I plan to distribute a copy of the OST DLC as thanks for the support. For those who bought both the game and the soundtrack already, I unfortunately don't have anything further to give you at this time, but I want you to know that it's thanks to your support I decided to make this change. The main reason for not making the game free in the first place was to recover some of the costs for making it, and you've helped make that happen.

Once again, thank you to everyone who's played The SOL Device these past few years. I hope you continue to have fun gaming.

-Straitlace
