It has come to our attention that during the QA process on Windows 8 / 8.1 for Gray Matter on Steam, the installer was not installing all of the components needed for this game to function correctly. Please see the link below and manually install the Direct X runtime. Once installed, your game should function on Windows 8 / 8.1 normally.
