It's time to explore spaaaace!
LIV Spaces allows anyone, on any device (through their browser) to join a VR streamer inside the headset as little 3D avatars, called 'buddies'. Your fans can move around in 3D using traditional WASD keyboard controls and mobile phone touch interfaces, interact with you, and inhabit your 3D world with other viewers. Basically, allowing you to be closer and physically interact with your fans. 🙂
Spaces can work with any Steam VR game, not just those with our SDK. It works similarly (and is tied to) StreamerKit, the difference being in how your buddies will see themselves on your stream. (Either in mixed reality format if the game has our SDK, or from your first person headset view if it does not!)
You'll find a shiny new 'spaces' section in our launcher, and if you need help we have a handy guide created just for you.
We will be streaming live on our Twitch channel for about an hour in case you'd like to stop by and check out Spaces for yourself, and ask any questions you may have!
