This update adds two new features to the game: Gym Rating and Contests, as well as a few tweaks to the UI to make it easier and more pleasant to use.
This Update
The first new feature of this update is Gym Rating. Gym rating is a star rating system, similar to how restaurants and hotels are rated, which represent how well your gym is doing. By achieving a higher gym rating, you will unlock new perks and features for your gym.
Contests are extra activities that you can participate in once you reach a gym rating of 1 star. You enter a gym member into the contest, and based on how well they did they may win a price for you.
Finally, I listened to your feedback and made various improvements that makes the game easier to use. For example you can now control the game's speed with the spacebar and 1, 2 and 3 keys, as well as rotate the camera with Q and E. Furthermore, the customers UI has been revamped so you need to click a lot less to get the same stuff done, nice!
Oh, and the map has been updated, it's way bigger now!
What's Next?
For the next update, I want to redo a few things regarding the customer. The happiness and thoughts system will be changed into a 'demands/needs' system that will give you a quick view on what you can improve about your gym. Furthermore, the skills will be expanded and improved upon, stay tuned for more info. I still hope to have this ready by late October!
