We are proud to announce a new version of “Friendly Fire”.

We have listened to the community and improved the game in many ways.

New Level Design

The level design has been completely redone and we are especially glad to tell you that many more quests and riddles have been added that make it worthwile to play the game for a second time, even if you already have finished version 1 some time ago.

More content

We have added a tutorial at the start of the game to ensure that new players get up to speed in no time and are able to learn the mechanics of the game.

A bunch of new non-player-characters have been added and most of the dialogues have been polished.

The overall time that is required to finish the game should now be between 30 to 60 minutes depending on your "style of playing".

New Character Selection Mechanism

Some players felt that the “gender fairy” felt way out of place. We apologize to all players that felt that such a construct might be “offensive”, “unnecessary” or even “transphobic”. Our intent was to offer a funny way with tongue-in-cheek humor to switch the player character (which is randomly chosen on game start up between a male and female version), but we have obviously failed to do so for some of our players.
Sorry… we want to do better.

Improved Gamepad Support

“Friendly Fire” did offer full controller support from the very beginning.

With the new version it is possible to switch between PlayStation and XBox/XInput hints to make sure that your chosen gamepad better matches the on-screen help.

New Soundtrack

The soundtrack has been completely remastered. When watching the credits, don't miss the new song that has been written, composed and performed by some members of the team!
