Touhou Blooming Chaos 2 huge update 2020.07.10

What a long wait! …For almost a month, here finally comes an update.

Today's update features a good amount of stuffs, in hope to enhance your experiences.

Meanwhile, we may add supports to English and Japanese in the next update, and we're now positively working on it, please wait for another while.

By the way, make sure to update your saves before applying the update!

New Contents

1. Gamepad is now supported. An instruction is included in the main page for the config. (XBox pad currently works the best, the others though require tests, we welcome any feedbacks.)
2. New playable character - Rin Kaenbyou
   Rin Kaenbyou is designed to be a comical character, with their skill named after Demacia, Deja Vu and more video game memes. She's also rad to control with, being cheer is what it's all about.
3. New boss - Komachi Onozuka
   A rather fun opponent, especially when you're hit by her skill "Try Death? Trial Ver." .
4. New Boss - Yuka Kazami,
   who is probably going to be the most difficult boss so far, feel free to experience it yourself.
5. New unique mode - Unrestrained Mode.
   Unrestrained Mode is the second unique mode following the Boss Rush one, selected in the east of the town and costs 3 silvers. The mode contains 10 chambers and enemy's spawn rate is increased to 500~1000%, good for farming Foe's Coins, really satisfying.
6. New location - Nameless Hill
7. New location - Garden of the Sun.
8. New location - The Magic Forest.
9. New soundtracks are introduced.
10. Korindo will sell higher amount of items as you proceed.
11. Map, music, and the highest chamber now display in the ESC menu.

Adjustments

1. Adjusted the style of skill explainations in the ESC menu.
2. Main plot is split into 3 available modes, the later ones are unlocked after completing their previous ones.
   Bosses appeared during or before the Investgation are fixed, which makes it convenient for farming their coins.
3. Chance for a special room to appear is decreased from 10% to 7%.
   The chance was raised up to 10% for test purpose and is proven to be pretty awesome. We've now rearranged it to 7%, but you can equip Tewi's suit to make it 10% again.
4. Updated the tutorial and the config menu for gamepad users.
5. An alternate formula of item sorting is added in the storage page.
6. Negatives can now be stored in the storage.

Optimizations

1. Hina's explosive marks no longer need to be triggered within a certain distance.
2. Hina can now perform her 1st or 3rd skill while dashing.
3. The damage of Hina's explosive marks is now stacked exponentially, 1 mark for 1 damage multiplication, 2 for 2, 3 for 4… up to 6 for 32, respectively.
4. Marks can now be only stacked up to 6 times.

Bug Fixes

1. Fixed the stickiness of the Half
2. Ghost Drill.
3. Fixed where Yuugi, Chen, Yuyuko don't move when far away.
4. Fixed Rin's dashing effect.
5. Fixed the description of Sanae's 3rd skill.
