Hello otters this is the big day we have all been waiting for, we are heading into Otter Space in less than 24 hours.
Three years of building this game from nothing but a blank level and a broken character alongside our community, everything from building the original game, rebuilding it all over again, our office collapsing, working from Star Bucks for 4 months, moving into a new office, development hell, building a game with no money and nothing but a group of friends with a dream.
Honestly, it's hard to put into words how we all feel right now, we have received so many wonderful words of encouragement, kind reviews, requests for reviews, phenomenal words, fan art and more it's been truly wonderful seeing you the community who have built this game come together at the end of this journey with us as we get ready to strap on our jetpacks and get ready to head into Otter Space.
We're tired from the lack of sleep but determined to get all the last minute prep ready for what comes tomorrow, split-screen, fast-action is coming to the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Steam in the form of a party shooter The Otterman Empire.
We honestly can't wait to hear all your thoughts, feedback, and see you all enjoying TOE across YouTube, Twitch, Discord.
We set out to create an experience that not only brought back split-screen gaming to all the platforms we are launching on but also bring a social experience that you can sit down with your friends, family, children, otters like the Golden Eye days and give the gaming community the chance to form those gaming bonds and memories we used to form with our friends.
Bringing people together through such a gaming experience was the core founding principle game when we sat down as a group of friends 3 years ago over a Chicken, Waffle and Syrup pizza from Crazy Pedro's and said "Let's make Splatoon, meets Mario Kart but with Otters in space with jetpacks" and we hope you all enjoy playing the game as much as we have enjoyed creating it for you all.
