Hello everyone!
I'm Tiago, game designer of Be Hero and I would like to talk a little about the game. Shall we?
Be Hero is a farm and crafting game about an aspiring hero who was late for the final battle and needs to work in a tavern to save money and be able to return home.
The player will be able to do this by mining, collecting, planting, battling, making items, fishing, completing missions and much more.
During this mission the player will also have to help rebuild the village, which was devastated by the final battle and will discover the mysteries that surround the island.
The game was inspired by the classic farming games and 16-bit RPGs, with a greater focus on history.
Unfortunately, there still several months to finish the game, but we wanted to show you how the game is developing and that you give us your feedback on it.
So, we hope that you understand if some too many bugs appear and that it doesn't interfere in your gaming experience.
In this alpha demonstration the player will be able to follow the beginning of the story, doing several activities that will be included in the final version (planting, collecting, cutting wood, mining, etc.).
You will be able to explore a part of the first instance of the game (forest) and battle some enemies.
Also, the player will be able to learn skills and repair/upgrade the tavern. However the character will be limited to 10 levels (there are 100 in the final version) and the tavern only goes up to level 5 (it goes up to 20 in the final version).
There are several biomes/scenarios missing (swamp, mines, evil lair...), NPC behaviors, new missions and texts, collection system, mini-games (including fishing), new enemies, bosses, list of missions, trophies, improving the day/night cycle, adjust night lighting, adjust all game audio (sound effects are still placeholders), among other things.
Oh! We still need to give the final details and polish to the game, so it will be even more beautiful and enjoyable to play. But as our team is small, this is being done little by little. ;)
Our core team, since the end of April 2019, has been composed of two people, myself and Leonardo Lunelli (Billy), who is responsible for the graphics of the game.
Recently we are also counting on Rodrigo Lengning and Fernando Nicknich, who are responsible for the audio of the game.
Well folks, that's it! We hope you enjoy the game and thank you very much for being a part of our dream. You are awesome!
If you have any questions about the game, send us an email to [email protected] or send us a message on twitter.
