Just 8 days till Resolutiion releases. And currently we are sending out Keys to Streamers and Press, to Youtubers and Curators. And if you have a streamer you follow on Twitch, feel free to tell them that they should get in touch, because Resolutiion features something you might enjoy: Twitch Integration. Let us explain this a bit, as we've structured the integration into three different layers.
First Layer: The Chat
The first layer is a chat integration. If a streamer activates the Twitch Integration in the options of the game, a chatbot will enter the channel (Follower Mode only won't work here, as the Bot cannot auto-follow). And once the Streamer has access to our AI in the game, Alibii, the chatbot will become active. And he will call out people who have been active recently in the chat and give them the option to display their next message in the game. If the user writes something, Alibii will spawn next to the player and display the message.
We make use of this option for Bossfights, too. If the streamer beats a boss, the next 20 - 30 seconds every message from the chat will be displayed in the game via this method.
Second Layer: The Votes
The chatbot can start votes which will influence the gameplay. For example the bot could ask if a bigger challenge is required and if the chat approves this via the votesystem (either !yes or !no), a random NPC or enemy might get doublesized. We have quite a few options here, from enemy behaviour to the look of the game - and of course, from time to time, the option to reset everything which was decided. Sometimes you will be able to help a streamer - and sometimes you can make their life painful.
Third Layer: The Devs
Maybe, just maybe, we have given certain accounts on Twitch additional rights. And maybe we have some comands only developers can trigger. And maybe we will be able to create a bit of extra fun. If we know a streamer is streaming and we find the time to join, we'll start some... you know... chaos...
