Hello Friends.
I'm really excited to announce that Playne is finally coming out of Early Access in the next couple of weeks*. Has it been that long already?!?
So what does this mean for all of you that already own Playne? Mostly everything will be the same and I will be continuing to release updates to make Playne better, so keep send me your feedback :)
For those of you who haven't purchased Playne yet, the price will increase slightly once it comes out of early access.
Now I want to take a moment to thank @sanugia who was one of the first players to get Playne, @gma who was the first ever player to plant over 1000 trees in Evolve mode (and supports me on Patreon), @disies who continues to welcome everyone on our discord channel, all the @translators who make Playne sound beautiful in other languages, my Patreons who look over me, my collaborators, who gave a bit of their heart to Playne and last but not least, all you who gave Playne a chance in early access — every single one of you have made Playne possible by supporting the development. Solo developing and self publishing video games can be super difficult, but your support has made it possible for me to keep improving Playne and making it what it is today.
For those of that have been with me from the very beginning, lets take a moment to remember when Playne was a humble 2D(ish) point and click affair — what Playne is now is largely thanks to the feedback that I have received from so many of you 🙏
I can't wait to announce some new projects soon. All of which I hope will help us live a more mindful life. I hope Playne continues to benefit you all and I hope to keep making games for you all :)
