Hey Crabbies! 🦀
We've got a small Hotfix today that fixes an issue with the Boss Fruit not giving Branching Evolutions and some controller snap navigation issues.

General:
Fixed a major issue preventing the game from starting up if the Resume Run save file was corrupted.
Added a warning pop-up informing players when a resume run save is corrupted; players can now continue with the game but will lose that current run's progress as a safety precaution.
Fixed an issue where multiple features can be selected/ hovered over when using multiple input types or when Alt-tabbing.
Fixed VJoy external Plugin breaking all input after Alt-tabbing.
Collecting a Branching fruit at the same time as a Regular level up will now reward the player with a Branching Evolution as intended.
Resolved a UI issue causing the Mutagen icon to display an incorrect value after saving and resuming.
Switching to a language which has no active panels in the news carousel will no longer remove the Carousel in all other languages.
Controller:
Fixed a condition causing Genetics and Evolutions not to be selectable with Controller snapping after they are revealed.
Fixed a condition where if the player switches input types during the Evolution screen, it would cause some elements to be unreachable through snap navigation.
Fixed Snap Navigation in the main menu, now allowing the Patch Notes info icon to be selected.
Fix for input devices switching when multiple controllers were connected at once.
Fixed Steam input creating issues for Gamepads connected to a Steam Deck
Fixed snap navigation in the settings menu to address moments where some settings could be skipped over.
Evolutions:
Clawdias' Contextual death tips will no longer show if the player dies while in a Spinneret web
