Hello everyone, I wanted to talk about our views and politics on DLCs

First, I need you guys to understand one thing. The development of this game is essentially a Hobby.
It is not a full time project and it just cannot be a full time project as the market is not strong enough.

We've also decided to keep the game free for the simple fact if people had to pay for it, they'd have a higher expectation, both for quality and for more regular kind of updates

What are the DLCs about?

We want to add new features into the game, but as previously said, Fred is essentially the only person actively working on the game and it is a hobby.
Me on the other hand, my job is to spread the word, to keep in touch with the community, Fred doesn't have time for that either. We both have full time jobs

This is why we have come up with the DLCs. They are there for people who want to see more content added to the game, Content that may not be easily done or perhaps content that would take a long time to implement. They will allow us to afford content that wouldn't be available for free, like License or commissions, etc...

DLCs Politics

We do not want to lock content behind a pay wall, we believe this is a hostile practice by the industry in order to milk more money from their customers.
For us, DLCs are extra content that can be downloaded which is not necessary to the game

All the money raised from the DLCs will be spent toward the game, we take none of it for personal use

We will add more DLCs over time, but we also want DLCs to have something interesting
For instance, extra Artworks, Music, etc...

We've noticed a few people bought it and refunded it not long after,
If you wish to get the content of the DLCs without paying, just feel free to ask, we have no issue giving it away.

Long Story Short

We've made DLCs to help accelerate the development of the game
The money will allow us to afford paying some people to help us
if you wish to support the development of the game, we would appreciate you buy the DLCs
We also promise we will never hide content behind a pay wall. so the DLCs will always remain an optional thing
