There has been another push of updates out for the Demo Version as of today, mainly because these additions bled over from the main game development cycle.
The Demo Version should be thought of Beta Testing core functionality and a free early-access to the beginning of the game.
While the list of changes would be rather exhaustive, many of them were 'under the hood' so to speak. To explain the main points of change (that can be seen in the Demo), see the below information.
Weapons have started receiving differing animations to provide variability and the potential for combo attacks.
Movement has been improved, specifically for water movement. Swimming has been greatly improved, expect more content to center around traversing water ways and dungeons.
Knockback capability has been added to all sources of damage to/from the player.
Added the ability to rename chests by clicking on the title of the chest in the menu.
Added quick deposit to chests.
Added quick stack to chests.
Added additional starting objectives to better guide/familiarize players with game mechanics.
Map navigation has been improved, enabled the ability to zoom.
Main Points of Interest (POIs) have been graphically enhanced to match the existing style of the game.
All swords received a new coat of paint to further differentiate tiers of power/material.
Modified terrain pieces to better accommodate biome/material transitions, enables a more seamless experience.
For those keeping tabs on the development (Thank you), you may have noticed the store page received new artwork.
These were updated to revise the outdated graphics taken from in-game screenshots. Stay tuned for an updated trailer and screenshots for the store page as the game is further developed.
