Tell us about your role working on the Mafia franchise and what brought you to 2K.
I'm a lifelong gamer through-and-through, having grown up watching my dad play games and begging for a chance to play. When the opportunity arose to help tell the story of this iconic series for millions of fans around the world, I jumped at the chance!
I've been playing Mafia games since high school, and immediately fell in love with the franchise's intense, character-driven brand of storytelling and tightly-paced action. As a proud Italian-American, exploring locations like San Celeste and Empire Bay has been a uniquely special opportunity to showcase my family's culture and history in gaming.
Do you have a favorite fan theory, reaction, comment, or meme from the Mafia community?
It has to be the "Absolute Cinema" meme for me. I use the Vito and Enzo versions made by our community often!
What makes the Mafia community special to you?
The emphasis on "Family" is more than a phrase—it's an accurate expression of the love and support we receive from the community toward Mafia's story, characters, and developers. I'm honored to be a small part of it!
How do you keep longtime fans engaged while making new players feel welcome in the Family?
As a longtime fan myself, I try to create content for our community that celebrates the very best of Mafia games, from immersive storytelling and gripping performances to brutal action and thrilling car chases. Our content contains layers; while longtime fans will see their favorite characters and moments from their favorite games, newcomers will hopefully discover a small sliver of what our community knows and loves about Mafia, and join the Family in the process.
