The focus, as the name suggests, is centered around the "Monster Taming" or "Creature Collecting" genre, which are a subsect of games dedicated to capturing, collecting, training, raising, and/or battling with monster companions.
These games range from the more traditional turn based RPGs to full blown real time action combat titles and everything in between. The event happens once per year on the "Gym Leader Ed" Youtube channel and is a collaborative effort bringing forth new trailers, dev logs, news and more, with this year having over 30 developers!
