We're finally here. After more than two years of development, Down with the Ship is now available in Early Access!
Since the first demo released almost 10 months ago, we’ve been hard at work expanding, polishing, and reworking major parts of the game. The Early Access release offers a ton of new content, including:
9 additional captains (!) with unique mechanics and item pools
New trinket mechanics, including pre-combat decisions that add more strategic variety
A revamped tutorial
Steam achievements
Unlockable lore
Improved matchmaking
Demo unlocks carry over, so anything you unlocked in the demo will still be yours in Early Access
Lots of balance changes, quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and miscellaneous tweaks
The Early Access launch price is 10% off for the first 14 days.
For the superfans among you, we're offering a Supporter bundle. While it gives you a little flair to stand out across the game, it's primarily a contribution to us, to encourage us to continue working on the game. Regardless, we're greateful for every single one of you, whether you're just playing the free demo, buying the game at discount or going all in with the supporter package.
