Hi Bitstreamers!
We released Adventures of Pip v.1.0.0 on June 4, 2015. For those looking for build notes, look no further -- please see the below for all features included in the Release version of Adventures of Pip:

v1.0.0 BUILD NOTES

  • Performance Enhancements - There were multiple reports indicating that even on high powered PCs, Adventures of Pip was running poorly. We hack and slashed our way through the frame rate issues and are happy to annoucement that the game runs much smoother. If you are still experiencing some performance hitches or slow down, please don't hesitate to email us at our support email and we'll look into it.
  • Achievements! - You can now play the game and unlock achievements! If you have previously played the game through Early Access, you will need to play at least one level in order for some achievements to unlock. We recommend playing Forest 1-1 to start seeing some achievements pop-up. Some achievements will require you to play a specific level all over again (mainly any achievement related to Bosses).
  • New Items in Item and Weapon Shop - We improved a few items in the Item and Weapon Shop based on feedback received during Early Access. Now available in the Item Shop: Villager Detector, Treasure Detector, Fire Orbs and Bit Force! In the Weapon Shop: Heavy Gloves, Power Ring, and the Magnet Bracelet!
  • Perfect! Rating - Hidden throughout every level are three Lost Villagers! Find all 3 in a level and enter the Bitstream to receive a Perfect rating at the Stage Clear screen! When returning to the Map, you will see a Perfect Crown on the level you just completed.

v1.0.0 KNOWN ISSUES:

  • No text displayed in dialog boxes - If your system language is set to any language besides English, the game will not display any text while playing. This is due to our future support for additional languages in the game. We are expected to have a fix immediately; this will force the game to English without the need of updating your system language to fix. We apologize for the inconvenience.
  • Achievements Not Unlocking - Some achievements are not unlocking properly; specifically the “Pip, the Pixel Picker Upper”. We are currently reviewing this issue and will update you once we have a fix in place. The achievement is still unlockable, but it will require you to collect more than you need to if you are playing on an existing save.
  • Loss of Controller Support - We have just become aware of loss of controller support between Early Access and Release. In the Released version, we are using the InControl plugin to support controllers. The list of InControl supported controllers can be found on their website here: http://www.gallantgames.com/pages/incontrol-supported-controllers — However, with the integration of this controller, we lost existing support of previously working controllers. We will continue to look at a better plugin to support additional controllers. In the meantime, if you are experiencing issues with your controller, please email us at [email protected] and we will add it to our list of controllers needed to support.

Thank you for your continued support and patience with Adventures of Pip!

If there are any questions, issues or concerns with the latest version of the game, please do not hesitate to add it to the Discussion board or email us directly at [email protected]
